At the present time, we have 6+ years of inventory of raw land on South Whidbey. That is raw land of all types.  Here is a breakdown:
 
   Total sold and active for 2009:                           240
            Sold                                                                  39
 
Average sale price                                             $134,685
Highest sale price                                                570,000
Lowest Sale price                                                      2,000
Average size                                                               3.158 Acres
 
View properties have sold the highest percentage of sales.
 
The good news:   there are 10 Pending sales of land at present.

I just checked- there are now 11 pending sales.

Considering there were 39 land sales in the whole year, that's a significant improvement. The fact lenders DO have lannd loans available will help matters greatly.
